Hello Wright Denny families! The PTO is hosting the Fall Scholastic Book Fair from September 27th-October 4th, 2024. We need volunteers to help make the Book Fair successful for our students! Friday, September 27th will be an all-day event with classes visiting to make their Wish Lists. Students can purchase items from Monday, September 30th through Thursday, October 3rd after lunch/during recess. Friday, October 4th any last-minute purchases can be made in the morning and we will be breaking down the Book Fair. Please check out the Signup Genius link to choose volunteer times. SAVE THE DATES Wright Denny Intermediate -Friday, November 1st We are still in the planning stage for our annual auction, however, if you or someone you know owns a small business that would like to donate, please have them contact us. We will also be accepting and seeking donations of Brand new items, gift cards, experiences, etc. Email: rvallen@k12.wv.us Along with the raffle items, we plan to have Papa’s Chicken and Ribs and treats by Lil Mang's so families can make a night of it with us as we draw tickets for each item. The Jefferson County Farm Bureau recently sponsored the “Agriculture in West Virginia” poster contest this year. The poster contest is held every year across the state for fourth-grade students. Congratulations 1st place county winner Brynn Carlson and 3rd place county winner Ava Moore of Wright Denny. Brynn's artwork will compete in the Farm Bureau state competition.
